Although electronic transformers, inductors and other magnetic components are only some seemingly insignificant small parts, they play an indispensable role in new energy vehicles, LED power supplies, photovoltaic inverters and other products. Generally speaking, electronic transformers play the role of voltage transformation, filtering and energy storage in products, while inductance is to solve EMI problems, electromagnetic compatibility and so on.
New energy vehicle
In new energy vehicles, the electronic parts of vehicles mainly need magnetic components such as electronic transformers and inductors. Compared with traditional automotive electronics, new energy automotive electronics uses more electronic transformers, inductors and other magnetic components than traditional ones, because in addition to multimedia and high-frequency signal processing, traditional automotive electronics will not use high-frequency capacitors, inductors or similar frequency increasing devices.
New energy automotive electronics requires magnetic components to pass anti-interference, static electricity, durability, high and low temperature, vibration, EMC (test related to automotive electronic parts) and other experimental tests. EMC will specify the space, quality and size requirements of magnetic components, and the specific parameters and power range depend on the EMC standard level of the product.
The standards for products provided by magnetic component manufacturers mainly include the following requirements: first, the inductance of products should reach error accuracy; Second, whether the current can meet the requirements. If some inductors are relatively large, their current will also be relatively large. If they are done well, the loss of the product will be small; Third, the material and process requirements, such as the material requirements for copper wire, process winding, etc.
Driving power supply
The magnetic components required by LED driving power supply mainly include transformer, common mode inductance, power inductance, etc. these require higher quality of components than traditional power supply, because the temperature required by LED lamp is higher than that of ordinary lamp. Transformer plays the role of voltage transformation in the power supply, and inductance is to solve the problem of EMI, so magnetic components are very important, and their basic consumption accounts for 1 / 4 to 1 / 5 of the whole power supply.
LED driving power supply requires small volume, good performance, high stability and low loss of magnetic components such as electronic transformer and inductance. The key of magnetic components such as electronic transformer and inductor is to optimize the magnetic core and improve the density and parameters of the magnetic core.
Photovoltaic inverter
Inverter plays an important role in solar photovoltaic power generation system, and magnetic components are the basic components of inverter. Electronic transformers will be used in the control power supply and grid connection parts of the inverter, in addition to sensors and other related magnetic components. The application of these magnetic elements in photovoltaic inverter will reach about 20%. They mainly play the role of filtering, voltage transformation, electromagnetic compatibility and so on in the inverter.
Photovoltaic inverter has requirements for the conversion efficiency, volume, weight and cost of magnetic components, as well as the heating and loss of performance.
As a manufacturer, the components are required to achieve high efficiency, low loss, low noise, long service life, insulation and withstand voltage, and the smaller the volume, the better. As users, they hope that the lower the cost, the better, and the higher the use efficiency, the better. If China's magnetic component manufacturers want to produce better products, first, they should make efforts in technical and theoretical research, new material application, design level and so on; Second, we should strengthen the process, including the consistency and stability of products.
